1 /5 Pitch Chan: I recently hosted my wedding at Novotel Suvarnabhumi airport on 1st December 2024 and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The lack of professionalism and organization from the staff was evident throughout the entire event.
The most significant issue was the lack of communication and collaboration among the staff. Key details were repeatedly overlooked, and the staff seemed uninformed about the event’s timeline and requirements. This resulted in severe delays in food service (approximately 1.5 hours), causing important ceremonies like the blessing ceremony for the newlyweds and the cake cutting to be postponed. This not only created a disjointed atmosphere but also left many guests feeling hungry and uncomfortable, negatively impacting their overall enjoyment of the celebration.
The attitude of the staff was also concerning. They appeared uninterested and lacked the enthusiasm expected for such a special occasion. The overall experience was unpleasant.
Additionally, a power outage occurred during the bride and groom’s preparation, further disrupting the proceedings. This unexpected incident highlights the hotel’s inadequate infrastructure and lack of contingency plans.
The sales team was also unhelpful, repeatedly asking the same questions and failing to provide a clear plan for the event.
Overall, our wedding experience at here was far from satisfactory. We would not recommend this venue to anyone planning a significant event, especially one as important as a wedding.
